ECD Member Showcase Blog with Laxmi

Adult Dance School Brussels Belgium English Speaking

Hi friends!! Welcome back to another ECD Showcase blog :D If you are new around here, our ECD Member Showcase Blog is here to get you familiar with all things ECD related through the experience of our lovely members. If you ever wondered what goes on in ECD during class and outside within our awesome community stick around and by the end of it, you might want to come join us. So without further ado, let’s get to know our amazing ECD member Laxmi :D

1. How long have you been a member and what is ECD like for you personally?

“I don’t remember but I think it was in 2017 or 2018 [when I joined]. This experience gave me confidence. I was so stunned to discover that I could actually dance! I used to try dance class where I came out feeling so bad and not ‘good enough’ and discouraged. With Briana, it’s the contrary; you feel good, powerful, [and] energized. Because she’s not the kind of dance teacher who teaches to ‘show off’. ‘hey look at me, how good I am’. She knows how to be benevolent. I love that”

2. How has STU Arts Dance impacted you overall?

“I got back [in]to dance in fact. I knew it was somewhere inside of me. That it belonged to me. I used to dance when I was a child and then I stopped every time I wanted to start again. I did not like the class. Now I found THE class. And yes, I can dance!”

3. What is one thing you can say to someone who is afraid to start dancing?

Sweet and to the point, Laxmi lets us know “don’t Be scared; there’s no competition here, just come and have fun”. Everyone who joins ECD is here to have fun and learn how to dance. We laugh, jam out to some pretty cool songs, and make the best memories along the way!

4. What do you feel you have gained with STU Arts Dance?

“Self-Confidence mainly, and of course an even more beautiful body hehe! [I have also gained] some friends!” STU Arts Dance is more than just dance class, we are a community that uplifts and encourages each other to achieve their goals together. There is more the gain than just some cool dance moves when you join us ☺

5. Among all STU Arts Dance classes, which one do you recommend to new dancers?

“I would recommend the Sunday Class everyone <<Everyone Can dance Like>>… [There are classes that include ECD] Brittney, or Dua Lipa, or Beyonce. Because it is very funny, interesting and you can learn [cool] Choreography” Our <<ECD Like>> classes are catered to incorporate some of our favourite musical artists and their most iconic dance moves for everyone to follow along and love. And before you know it, you are practically Beyonce with your new and sick moves you learned with us!

Laxmi brings such happiness and good energy in every class she is a part of. The STU Arts Dance Team is grateful to her positive impact on our community and love to call her an amazing ECD member. At STU Arts Dance, we are more than just a dance class, we really try to encourage our community members to achieve their own goals and aspirations within their personal journey and love to see everyone thrive! If you are interested in starting your dance journey and would like to do so with us, check out what we have to offer here, and how to get registered here! We can’t wait to see you out there jamming with us very soon :D

Special thanks to our lovely ECD member Laxmi.

Much Love,

The STU Arts Dance Team
